A new dark map option, starting with the Live view
The Live view gets a new dark map background you can switch on, plus steadier automatic updates. (Replay gains it in v1.5.8.)

What changed
A new dark map for the Live view
The Live radar view has a new dark map background — a darker, cleaner backdrop behind your aircraft. It’s a third option alongside the ones you already had (the original map and a plain black background), so nothing changed unless you want it to — switch between them anytime in the Live view.
Many people find the dark map easier on the eyes on a shelf or desk. It’s also a little gentler on your display’s reception than the bright map, so you’ll tend to see more distant aircraft with it — though a plain black background is still best if you want the very longest range. Pick whichever look you prefer.
Steadier updates
We hardened the way your display relaunches after an automatic update, and added self-healing for units coming from older updaters — so over-the-air updates land smoothly in the background.
As always, this arrived automatically over the air — nothing for you to install.
